Good day to anyone reading this. I am unsure of what's happened, maybe a split cylinder head or block from a freeze but, as always, whatever has happened is somewhere on the face of the engine, its rear end & I can't see. So engine needs to come out for a proper inspection. Has anyone removed a BX2200D engine & can offer advice, photos or video to assist me. I have no doubts about being able to get it out by just disconnecting everything attached but I find that it is wiser to seek advice on something new to me rather than play the one-eyed bull in a china shop. Any assistance or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I pulled the engine on my BX22 to replace front and rear main seals. I have a few pictures but nothing that I would think would be helpful. I mostly just took pictures showing various views of everything that needed removed or disconnected so there were no questions when going back together. It's been a few years since I did this, but don't remember there being anything difficult about it. I believe I did end up removing motor mounts to be able to move the engine forward as there wasn't enough room to lift up over the mounting studs. Good luck and hope your problem isn't too serious.
