I think I have a bad temp gauge on my BX. The temp sensor tests good and the wiring isn't showing any signs of a short or rodent damage.

Does the gauge come out from the back side of the instrument cluster? If so, how does the cluster come out for easier access.

How's the continuity on the wire? Are you getting the correct voltage to the meter connection?

Ooops.

You can't test that until you get access to the back of the meter.

I hope someone can help us with that part, because I have the same question.

I have the WSM for this tractor and it says nothing about how to get the instrument cluster out.

this is for the BX22D, gauges look 'old skool' to me, remove the wires, undo 2 nuts, retainer comes off, meter pulls out ?

My guess is that's all there is to it. I'm out of state at the moment but I'll be digging in when I get back.

It's easy to get out, remove the battery, then stand on your head to get under the dash and try to work around the PS servo and hoses. Piece of cake.

Does the clear plastic sheet that covers the gauges pry off? Is there double sided tape keeping it on so the gauges will come out the front?

I think you need to post a picture of your dash get a proper answer.

There are individual gauges in the post #4 but you are describing a dash panel to me.

From GreensvilleJays picture in post #4 it looks as if the wires have to be removed at the back (three threaded studs), then the bezel #100 comes off the back and then the meter is pulled out the front.

I see a small hole on the front of the instrument panel. It could be that this is for a bolt that holds the panel is place; the panel is probably hooked in on the other side somewhere. So you can try to take the bolt out and try to remove the panel for easier instrument access.
