BX1870 post hole digger capability

Hello All,

I'm currently shopping for a sub-compact tractor. I like the smaller size of the 1870 for my residential purposes. However, one of the main tools I need is a post hole digger to put up a fence.

Does anyone have experience with these on a 1860 or 1870? Or do I need a 2370 to use the PHD effectively?

I don't have a PHD but I'd check the three point up-down range first. It is not as great a range as a larger tractor. You may find it won't do the job because of that limitation. Also, there is no reverse on the PTO and a stuck auger means trouble.
