Hi, I have a BX 1500 that I have had for about a year and there is one control location that does not have a handle in it. I believe this is for a hydraulic top link that may have been an option that the original owner did not purchase? Is this something that I can purchase for my tractor or is it something that only comes on the larger size BX's. See picture

If possible and feasible I would like to add to the tractor but all depends on how much $$

Thanks in advance!

On my 2370 that location is for 2 handles for the rear hydrolics add on. It's about $900 cad for the parts.

I have the same empty slot on my BX1800 and would also like to find and purchase the missing hydraulic control and lever. Anyone know where to find it or a part number for the original kit?

183King: If you had that extra control and the fittings, what do you need it for anyhow? It probably can be used for a three point attached log splitter; maybe a single plow for gardening, etc. Without having a need for rear hydraulics, why buy it? Remember the way to get higher hydraulic volume or pressure is by revving up the engine. My experience with a larger tractor than the
BX and more hydraulic volume rate, I still found the log splitter much slower than a tow behind splitter with-its own engine. Check, out these aspects before diving in.

The reason I was looking to get a hydraulic top link was because I use the 3 point hitch with a set of forklift blades for moving around my firewood see attached pics. It would be nice to be able to keep the load level while traveling currently when the 3 point hitch is all the way up it puts the wood at an angle I know how to adjust it manually but the hydraulics would be so much smoother. I also would like to some day get a rake and a grader blade which I think it would come in handy for as well. So if anyone does know where that kit could be purchased I would consider buying it depending on cost.

Hey 183King,
Did you ever get the hydro-toplink? Updates?
I just got a BX1500 too. Nice machine.
I really like your firewood storage racks. I never thought about using my leftover metal deer fence! Thx for those pics!~
