Bx 2230 overheating

Do others have issues with overheating?
My tractor blew a hose and white smoke billowd from the engine compartment.

Start by ensuring you have free airflow through the radiator core. Check the screen in front of the radiator. Blow out or rinse out the outside of the radiator core. Do this from the engine side, blowing or rinsing toward the front of the machine. Dust and seeds tend to accumulate there preventing the free flow of air. You could also check the pressure cap on your radiator or overflow tank as well as your thermostat. If the thermostat sticks closed the engine WILL overheat.

Yes wash out the core,,, WARNNING <<<<<< do not use a pressure washer !!!!!!
Use you leaf blower OR just water from the garden hose. 99% of the time that will take care of things,,,

Should be a removable screen in front of the radiator that pulls out from the top also.

What did the temp gauge indicate before the rad hose blew off? Could be as simple as the hose and/or clamp was mispositioned or not on tight enough. How many running hours? Maybe the hose was old and hard and needs replacement.

Those two words do not mean the same thing, and the difference matters.
