Which do you prefer and why, let say for the 5 to 6 footers.
The rounded "U" rear, square body, or cut corner design ?
Thanks

I have a Cut corner design from Kodiak and I like it. I am not sure that there is a lot of difference between a cut corner and a rounded back, but I do think that both of those designs allow you to get closer cuts in certain areas when backing up rather than a completely square design.

I prefer the U shape, less prone to tree damage, bit better clearance in turn and the radius "seems" to be a bit harder to bend.

Well Im glad to hear both the responses because Im currently looking at a rounded design and was thinking of the same advantages as both of you. The only disadvantage I could see was backing up over small sapling and how the sapling might roll along the edge of the frame when compared to the angled edges. But thats not going to be a continuous problem for me once the 2 acres are cleared.
Thanks for all the help.

I've used both and don't have a really strong preference, bu having used both I find the round back design is more easily deflected than the cut corner and less damaging to trees, posts etc., I know I'm not supposed to hit them, but...

Well the round is what I bought today. I wanted to hear some reasons why and thanks for all the help.
