Good aftrnoon,

I was given a 3 phase motor with a browning bushed pulley. It does run, but looking for information on the pulley as far as what belt type (a, 5v, ect). I have searched the part number stamped into the side and have turned up nothing. Maybe an out of date number?

what is stamped:
Browning
X27B86

Any input would be apperciated

Thanks.

You can just measure the sheave. Here's the measurement across the top of the wedge for the most common ones:
3V - 0.350"
5V - 0.600"
8V - 1.000"
A-B - approximately 0.612" to 0.625"
C - approximately 0.879" to 0.895"
D - approximately 1.259" to 1.283"

It could be tricky to differentiate 5V from A-B without calipers though. A cheap hardware store set will do the job if it comes down to it.
