It appears the clevis pin on my rear right hub has sheared off in the axle shaft and caused my tire to walk itself inward. (Luckily it didnt walk itself off) It was on the middle position on the shaft. Can I move the hub to the outer clevis hole for more stability? if it choose the outer clevis hole the hub over hangs off the end of the axle shaft.
Also because the clevis pin broke does this tell me the the hub tightening pinch bolt was to loose?
Any ideas on how to get broken clevis out? Go right for the torches and air hammer or drill it out ?
