Just purchased l3800, delivery in 2 days, purchased also Woods BSS65", box blade, I noticed Kubota only recommends a 52" BB, in the implement section of Manual. Should I reconsider size of Box Blade or will the L3800 work with the 65".

I'm using the regular size box blade as recommended. It matches the loader width. It works perfectly for smoothing gravel and dirt. It has plenty of width and goes to the edge of the tires.

The box blade was perfect for smoothing gravel out. 2 passes made a driveway that was "bumpy," into a smooth useable surface.

I also cleared some property around my neighbors sheds for fire hazard using the scarifiers down and loader. It pulls up plenty of stuff easily. With a wider one, I'm not sure what I would have run into.

I recommend the recommended.

I use a 72" box blade on my L3800. It covers my tire tracks and the machine doesn't seem to have a problem handling it. I've used it for snow removal and spreading rock in my driveway.
