To start off with, I'm going to need something for ground/site prep for the pole barn we're going to be building. The barn will be going on the back ten acres of the property we bought with our new house. But I'll also needing the attachment to fix and build up the exsisting two track that leads up to where the pole barn will be. After that it'll mostly be used for snow removal and road maintenance at the hunting camp. Not to mention snow removal at the house. I appreciate any input, thanks. Oh it's for a L4060 with LA805 loader and BH92 backhoe by the way.

You'll probably end up needing both. I use both my BB and EA ED 8' grader blade (and my 6' TSC rock rake) for my one mile gravel road.

Your going to need both from your description. A screwdriver doesn't make a good chisel and a chisel doesn't make a good screwdriver. Every tool has its purpose.

.

I have owned both of them at the same time, I now only have the box blade. As stated for the broad applications you want you will probably need both. For construction/prep work the blade will be useless. The box blade will do a good job for that, make sure you buy one that is wider than your rear tires.

The angle blade will do a good job on driveway maintenance and can be used for snow clearing depending on geography and individual situation. I clear 10 driveways around me and using a plow/blade for snow removal does not work for me as by the end of winter you have no more room on the sides of the driveways to put the snow. I live in the Alberta Foothills at 4400' ASL.

I just bought my B7800 Cab but for over 30 years I have used my TEA-20 Ferguson and 3 PTH, V-Type, 6' snowblower. It will be on the 7800 next winter and I will be warm in the cab.
