My BH75 backhoe on my B7800 tractor has worked perfectly since I bought it in 2005. I accidentally overfilled the hydraulic reservoir after replacing the filters and fluid. After operating it for about an hour, I shut it down in a field, on a hill, with the stabilizers down to keep it in place. The right stabilizer would not raise when I went to move the tractor. The lever that operates it would move only in one direction, down. I appeared to have a strong hydraulic lock. To move it out of the field, I bled the stabilizer line while jacking it up with a farm jack. After getting it back to the barn, I removed enough fluid so the reservoir level was correct, but the stabilizer control still was locked so that it would only move in the down position. I talked to our local Kabota dealer hydraulics mechanic and he stated that overfilling could not result in what was happened, and that what I was describing couldn't happen at all. But it did. Huh! The valve moved freely after the backhoe sat unused for a couple of weeks, but the movement of the stabilizer was sluggish and weak, suggesting to me that maybe air was in the lines, but when I bled the lines, I got only fluid, no air that I could see. After bleeding, the valve again was locked up when in the down position again. I'm thinking of maybe air trapped in the valve, but there isn't any bleed valves on the control valve, and the line is pretty much impossible to get to with a wrench. Anybody have a fix or any good ideas? I really need my backhoe before winter sets in here. Thanks...

have you checked the stabilizer lever connection? Pull the cover off and see if it looks like it is adjusted like the other side. maybe the connection loosened and it slipped a bit.

edit: having looked at the parts diagram, it doesn't appear to have any adjustment in the rod connections. Pull the cover anyway to see if you can get the rod to move freely. you could simply have something stuck in there.
