Video of belt gyration on new 60 inch mower deck

Kabuta and I differ in our opinions on rather or not this is acceptable for the way the belt runs on my new BX23s mower. Kabuta dealer staff, district service rep included, say this is running according to specifications and "they are all that way". I say that's crazy. The belt hits itself at the idler and is polishing the bolt heads of the belt guard mount. Watch this 7 second video and tell me what you think. Wasn't allowed to post link, so copy and paste will do it.

Didn't watch the video but broken cords in a belt will cause vibration.

Did you try to see if running at a different RPM changes the belt's vibrations?

It might be something that is a resonant phenomenon that happens at a certain RPM.

watched the video several times ( would like to have seen a full minute..)
Well 'something' ain't right !! While I don't have a MMM, I've rebuilt a lot of them over 3 decades and none 'whipped' like that.
I'd get the dealer to give you a new belt, remove deck, install belt, turn drive by hand and see how the new belt rides. It should run true and smooth.
I like the 'antiwhip' rollers BUT they shouldn't be needed. I'd like to see others in action, maybe yours has a pulley off axis or a bad belt.
I know I wouldn't be using it...
