Belly mount mowers

Can anyone please tell me what changed between the early serial numbered Rc72-25 and the latter ones. The parts list says they are not interchangeable. I need to replace my deck because of rust and they are discontinued so I am trying to find used ones. I have located a decent used one but it has the latter serial #. Looks close . What is the difference? Thanks.

The mounting tabs are different. Not by much but enough to make it not bolt up.

Thanks for your answer. Do you think it is feasible to move the mounting tabs or should I just keep looking? I can do miner welding but the metal in these areas it thin. Again ,thank you.
