Looking at directional control valves and cylinders I’m wondering if anyone has experience with Bailey Chief line or Prince Wolverine line of products?
Good or bad?
How about customer service?

Yes, experoence with both.

The Chief valves are house branded P40 imports avaikable for less from other sources.

The Wolverine valves are quality European imports but a bit pricey.

I quit using the Wolvetine valves and switched to the P40s from Summit. Less expensive and equal quality.

So the P40 valves from Summit are the same sold by Bailey?
I was looking on Summit. Pretty informative.

No. Summit gets their valves from Badestost Hydraulics in Bulgaria as does Magister. I have no idea where Bailey gets theirs. Vevor P40s are made in China.

Dan
I had talked to Bailey and Prince
The way I remember the Chief valves were made in Bulgaria.
Wolverine valves were made in Asia somewhere.
I’ll have to check up on that again.

Prince website says the Wolverine line is "globally sourced". I thought I had seen Europe in their literature but cant find it. I have one of the MB valves in the shop. I will look to see if there is anything about country of origin on it. In any event, based on my experience they are perfectly fine but s little pricey compared to the ubiquitous P40.

Bailey sells both the Chief line and Prince Wolverine.
according to them Chief is made in Bulgaria, and the Wolverine line from prince is made in Taiwan.

I ended up ordering a Bailey Chief 3 spool control valve with one spool float option.
Bit more spendy but available. Summit was on backorder.
I'll work on best mounting position for my liking.

Next to research quick couplers.
I like the idea of breakaway (push pull style)

Not Baileys. I bought a three spool valve from them. E-mailed them a question: Never heard back.

It leaked like a sieve. Since the original installation was forked up, I wrote the leaks off to that. Replaced it with another Bailey 3 spool. It leaks like a sieve as well.
