Bad noise in tractor

I have a Kubota l4300DT that was at an idle and all of a sudden it had a terrible clatter noise in it so I shut it off immediately. After that when I grabbed the PTO output shaft it would spin freely for a half a turn and then stop with a clunk. I have drained all of the oil from the motor looking for metal and the transmission as well. There were very few flakes of metal from the transmission but I didn't see anything in the motor oil. I have split the tractor behind the clutch case and have gotten access to the PTO clutch and everything looks fine. Where do I go from here?

Did you have the clutch depressed at the time the chatter started? Throw out bearing may have seized

Sorry didnt read the part where you said the clutch looked fine. Im assuming the bearing was good too then

It was not but I did try that

All parts at the PTO clutch looked fine
