Have b8200 hst with damaged steering shaft and ballnut, no longer available from kubota, any ideas on aftermarket parts, gearbox is ok worm gear at end of shaft has damage and nut ball is worn and bearings came out of tubes. My research so far has led me to believe the b8200hst model does not share parts with other models? Seems a shame to retire this tractor. Thanks in advance geo h

You might also consider the approach taken in the following thread as the parts are available aftermarket:

Another option would be just buy a new complete box assembly. Yes, it's $702.29, but it's still cheaper than buying a new tractor.

Regarding the power steering conversion option, you might consider contacting the seller in this thread:

Finally, I'd consider contacting the actual aftermarket parts manufacturer to see if they're working on on a replacement shaft for the 8200 series. It is my understanding that they're a US company. If not, then you might also consider having one made by your local machine shop.

Just my thoughts,

Steve

do you have a part number? i've got 1 new kubota ballnut assy setting on the shelf. I think its for a smaller tractor but we can check numbers if you want.
