I have a B8200 with hydrostatic transmission that I have just purchased. The hydraulic strainer (filter) part number 67800-37120 appears to be stripped and cross threaded as well. Would anyone happen to know the tread pitch of the threads near the bolt end? I wanted to replace it and possibly buy a tap to clean up the threads if needed. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have one laying on my workbench at the shop, I will try to remember to measure it tomorrow.

The screen I have is actually from a B2910, but I am 99 percent sure the thread is the same on all of them. It measures 1.038" with 14 pitch threads. A 3/4 BSPP thread is 1.040" and 14 pitch. I tried a metric pitch gauge and it is in between 1.75 & 2.00 pitch. BSTP is 1.020" with 14 pitch threads.
Guess that makes it 3/4" British Standard Parallel Pipe thread.

Thank you for time doing that. Very helpful and much appreciated. Hopefully I can get it out and cleaned up.
