New to the group. Over the winter my 1985 B7200, gear-driven, 2WD caught on fire. I'm trusting the motor is still good, I need to replace everything that bolts to it. Today I found a B6200 Hydrostat sitting behind a building with a blown transmission. Before I contact the owner of the B6200, I'm wondering if there is any compatibility between the 2 tractors such as the radiator, alternator, wiring harness, gauges, seat, and so on. Thanks for your advice.

What does the rear 1/2 look like. I am thinking even with a new front 1/2. You will need to reseal alot of stuff in the rear 1/2. I have my concerns about the trans.

Go to the Kubota site and check some of the more obvious part numbers. I am guessing a lot are the same.

I'll get some better pics today and post them for you, Woodman55. The fire stayed mostly under the fuel tank and motor. It was raining the night of the fire and the rain kept the fire from spreading. My JD X320 mower was sitting next to it and the fire never spread to it, though the heat did melt a lot of the plastic parts. Thanks for your input.

Sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to you. The weekend got away from me. Here are some more pics...

The back 1/2 looks not too bad. For the most part you're probably good to go with the rear 1/2. The shifter boot not being burnt too bad, is a good sign.

Thanks for your input, woodman55. Once the weather cools down a bit I'll get into it and let you know what I find. Have a great day!
