I have a '93 B7100hst with a 60" kubota MMM. What would the normal operating temperature be of a properly working cooling system? I have a SunPro temp guage to see the temp but the gage fluctuates approx 40 degrees on the needle. The gage is going to be replaced but am looking for a temp that is normal.

I wouldn't think 40 degrees of fluctuation would be unusual for a thermosyphon cooling system. There is no thermostat to provide tight temperature regulation, it's all up to natural convection and the air temp\flow through the radiator. I'd consider a range of 150F to 210F to be normal operating temperatures depending on external conditions.
