B7100 Gear oil pan gasket replacement

Hi,

does anyone have experiance with replacing oil pan gasket on B7100 gear shift? How hard is to do it? What is the procedure for doing it? My 1980 B7100have 1726 hours on the clock.

I was waiting for someone smarter than me to speak up but since they didnt:

Pressure wash or at least thoroughly clean your engine block before you start tearing into things. Your oil leak could be coming from higher up and showing on the oil pan when in fact its a valve cover leak (easy). Always look for something cheap and easy to fix first!

When I got my B7100, there was some seepage around the oil pan gasket.... I checked the oil pan bolts & they were all about a quarter turn loose.... snugged 'em up & it hasn't leaked since.
