Does anyone know what the output (in amp's) spec's are for the Dyno on the B7100 ?

I'm wondering if I can make it work with the existing dyno with my additional lighting.

I run 4 55w halogens for 20-30 minutes at a time and have never had a problem.

Remember, your charging system is a SYSTEM and not a single component.

I have an amp gauge on mine, it puts out 9A at 14v when the engine speed is up so around 125 watts.

COOL, Thanks Tim. Just what I needed to know.

Where did you pick up the amp gauge?

Manual/Specification on my B7200 gives this;

Starting system Electric starting with cell starter (12 V, 0.8 kW), glow plug and decompression device
• AC dynamo 1 2 V, 150W
Battery 12 V, 45 Ah

150 Watts is the answer on a B7200 the 7100 is probably the same.

I am running 2 * 55 watt lights at present and intend to up this to three * 150 Watts

Hope this helps
Cheers

Apologies

My earlier post should read as follows. (3 * 55watt not 3*150watt)
