Hi Vic, Still trying to track down those radiator hoses. I ordered some for a 6000/7100 and they were the right shape and length but they were only 28mm ID. The 7000 hoses are about 35mm ID. The parts manual arrived by the way. Thanks.

Hi Rowboat,

These guys will supply the correct hoses - I bought some myself and they fit perfect.

They specialise in spares for B7000 and should post to canada OK.

If not, I'll get them for you an forward them on. :)

Regards

Maximus

Thank you Maximus. Great news! I'll try them out. That is a very kind offer to forward the hoses to me... I have stripped the 7000 down and am repainting/ repairing everything. The thought of being stuck with ill fitting car hoses is a bit unbearable when everything should be perfect!

Hi Rowboat,

How's the rebuild going? I did the same with my b7000. Rebuilt the steering box and cooling system. Repainted the body and panels. Replaced a lot of the wiring loom. Greased it up etc.

Result: the machine is like new- starts on the button and doesn't smoke. Recently dropped a row of 20 trees and the machine had no problem dragging/carrying the trunks up to the workshop. Just bought a log splitter to run of the back, as I'm installing a wood boiler - free heating! Next job is to plough / rotovate the field and then make a FEL/backhoe. The B7000 is a great machine.

I'm so glad I found this thread!

The only parts I've had luck getting from the local Kubota dealer are those that are linked to from the home page of this site, i.e. fuel, air, and oil filters.

Anytime I provide a part number from my B7000 parts book, such as for a fan belt, upper rad hose, or lower rad hose, it doesn't even come up on their computer. I'm guessing it's because the Z650 engine isn't used on any export models, so there's no reason for them to stock the part or even have a listing for it.

Luckily the parts guy at Canuck tire managed to find fan belt that's almost an exact match (probably about 2 mm wider).

For the hoses I've just sent an order to yenbiz. Great site! They seem to have everything a B7000 owner would ever need!

Yep - they can supply just about everything you need - but they are pricey for some parts. I've had no problems with delivery.

If you take the part-number from the Yenbiz site, it can be used at your local dealer, as parts are common to a lot of machines. You can see which machines are common, at the top of the Yenbiz page.

As an example, I bought the bearings for my steering box through my local dealer, at a third of the cost quoted by Yenbiz.
