I hope everyone had a great Christmas! With the help of several posters here, I have completed my B6200 project.
History - Purchased the tractor at an estate auction a little over a year ago and finally got around to working on it about a month ago. I had a lot of good advice from people on this site which helped a lot - thanks.
Breakdown:
Replaced ignition switch, clutch safety switch, unfroze breaks, replaced one set brake shoes, replaced water hoses, replace fuel return lines, removed one injector and cleaned, seat spring replaced, two new front tires, changed engine oil, changed hydraulic oil twice, cleaned hydraulic filter twice, new oil filter, new air and fuel filter, drained fuel tank.
She starts easy, runs great with very little if any smoke. She has 196 hours on meter but I am guessing that is 1,196 hours. Over all very solid machine.
I have a buddy who is interested but not sure what the real value of the machine is just looking for opinions on what to charge.
Paid $900 for tractor at auction and have another $647 in parts.
It is a two wheel drive machine - may end up just keeping it due to my little one thinking it is his tractor. Thanks for the help and advice and have a great New Year!
