Hello
My b6000 throttle has gotten too loose and will not stay in WOT position. I plowed my driveway (snow!) yesterday with one hand on the throttle lever and one on the wheel shifting to the bucket controls when needed. I have a Bxtended clamp on plow blade, works pretty well. I have not yet detached the hand lever from the injection pump lever. A few questions: The joint next to the fuel tank is very sloppy and has a washer and cotter pin. There is no resistance to movement there. Should there be some resistance on the lever at the injection pump? Anybody have any experience with this ? Suggestions? Thanks.

No friction at pump, I believe. On my B7100, there was a nut which controlled the friction washers where the throttle lever(hand piece) pivoted, just above the rod that went to injection pump.

Thanks Mikey but there are no nuts on mine. The actuating rod is held in the hand lever by cotter pins through holes drilled in the rod and washers. Perhaps I could try thicker washers to produce some friction, but I'm wondering what changed.
