I bought the tractor a couple months ago and just fixing her up. the new ones I got from messiks are much 2 long, and would hit the top of the piston. Im gonna pull the originals out again and head over to the kubota dealer.

Not much help, and I'm no expert (quite the opposite really), but I thought the glow plugs were recessed up in the head on these? If so, perhaps relatively minor variations in length can be accommodated without a problem. And the previous plugs may be acceptable (or marginal?) substitutes for the correct plugs. But that would certainly be a question for someone who knows...

Strange! Messicks sent the shorter ones for my B6000 as the correct part. However it had installed the longer ones! I was just replacing them as the longer ones were probably 30 years old and the glow plug system did not work. After cleaning everything up it all works. I believe I will stick with the longer plugs. As They do no damage to working parts and must surely do a better job of reaching the combustion chamber of the B6000

Hello all, I'm new here.
I can verify that the Y107-1 glow plug does work in the B6000. Just installed one the other day.
