Hi guys, new to the forum. I have B6000 and I have a couple of issues with regards to the;
1)Primary drive shaft. When the engine is running and in neutral, there is a noise that is coming from the either the ball coupling or the top bearing of the main drive shaft. Is that coupling serviceable without splitting the tractor? It appears that the bearing housing that mounts directly to the transmission might be. However, the internal part of the coupling won't slide on the shaft splines toward the flywheel. Is it frozen on the shaft?
2)Front wheel drive shaft. When I'm running in 5th or 6th gear at higher speeds, there is a noise that sounds like possibly a bearing that is dry and skewing right beneath the seat low speeds no issue. Because it appears to be ground speed dependent and not engine speed dependent, I think it has something to do with bearings that house the 4WD shaft in the transmission. I removed U-joint at the transmission, appears to be OK. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, this website is awesome.
