Long story short ,my 'new' B5100dt(4wd,12hp) needs a clutch housing.NLA according to Kubota, and I can't afford a $600 used one(might not be correct,BIG gamble). While I'm pretty sure I have a B5100, the clutch housing has 'B5001-52765' stamped on the left side. The tranny side mounts with 8 nuts.
so...
I've cut, hacked, ground off the 'bell housing' from the 'torque tube' so I can reweld it straight.
Can someone please email me good, clean pictures of theirs, as well as a few dimensions.
Another request..my rear axles have 3 holes for wheel spacing, but the manual only say 2 positions.Have I got a 'hybrid' here?
Another silly question...The drain plug for the tranny(3spd+hi/lo) is orange, yet the rest is blue.Is this 'normal' or indications of do have a FrankenBota?
Any help is really appreciated.Working on my other oranges(A-C D-14s) is easier but I really need to get going on this 'project'.
Thanks
Jay

I wish I could help more. I do not have a B5100 to look at. It is normal for your drain plug to be painted a different color.
I am not sure about the 3 sets of holes in the axle. All 3 of my B7100s have 3 sets for adjustment.
As far as the serial # My 2 b7100 gear drive tractors have a serial # that starts with B7001. So I would suppose the early B5100 might be the same.
Good luck with trying to weld the bell housing back together. That is some pretty precise alignment.
