While greasing my mower today and the lift linkage, I noticed that the round bar that runs through the frame rails under the floor of the tractor where the lift linkage attaches had some play in it. It is a little loose on the(right) discharge side. It doesn’t look like there should be a bushing between the round bar and the metal frame of the tractor that it passes through. The opposite end of the bar has a bushing bracket that is bolted to the frame rail for the bar and there is no play between bar and frame rail. Is it normal to have some play on the right (discharge) side with the round bar?
Thanks in advance for any replys.

Maybe post a picture. Also, the manual should include a parts schematic and if you don't have the manual the Messicks website should have it available online for free. Good luck.
