I would like to replace the standard seat on my recently purchased B26xx tractor with something that might be a little easier on the back. I saw a seat in Tractor Supply that look like it would work but thought I would ask people on the Forum for your advice.

Does Kubota make a seat upgrade?

Thanks

Hi:
I've been searching for a good replacement seat too.
Have read very good things about this one at Northern Tool, called a Michigan Highback:

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200268424_200268424?cm_sp=Upsells-_-Top Sellers-_-Product Page

My concern is that it might move me too "high in the saddle" and would be leaning over to reach the steering wheel. However, since I'm a wide-body version of my younger self, I imagineI would compress the seat down nearly to the bottom anyway. I'm told this will raise my overall height 3-4", which I think would be OK.

Sorry I can't give you more specific info regarding its compatibility with your tractor.

I'll let you know if I pull the trigger and get this one, and please let us all know about your seat "adventure".

From what I've read, retro-fitting any seat is a bit of a challenge. As you can tell from some of the very talented gearheads on this site, it can be done and they're willing and able to give advice on how, thankfully.

All the Best
David

DJG,

Did you ever get the Northern Tool seat?

If so what is it like?

Thanks

Robert

Haven't gotten one yet.
Might still get one this year but most likely will be next spring.
If something changes, I'll let you know.
Adios.
