B2150 Fuel Filter replacement

Is there a trick to replacing the element? I cannot get the new element to fit over the inlet.

An official Kubota filter will take a bit of pressure to get that filter on the filter housing. I think there is an o ring that it has to go over. I have had to reach up and push on the metal base rather than on the bottom (other end) of the filter to get it to seat. A bit of pressure and it should fit, just real tight.

I had a similar problem with mine and it turned out that the top of the old filter had come off and was stuck up in the housing.
