I have a B1750 hst. Recently the lever that raises the 3 point hitch has become very loose moving. So much so that i can't keep the back blade in the raised position. I can't find any tension adjustment on it. Any ideas?

Don't know if this will help. On my L245DT the lever was loose, and constantly falling forward. I think it was Vic, on this forum that pointed me to the "jam" nut adjustment. It is at the point where the shaft enters the rear end housing.

See my post farther down (B7100 hydraulics). There is a large bolt head below the hydraulic control lever on my tractor. When it is removed you can see it is hollow with a spring inserted. A steel ball bearing fits on the end of the spring & fits into a recess on an arm attached to the lever that moves the spool valve. That gives you the Neutral detent.
