My wife was driving the B1402 at the weekend and complained that it was moving very very slowly in any low range gear (forward or reverse). The manual that came with it is in Janglish (very poor English word for word translated from Japanese) and the diagrams do not exactly match my tractor. I think she has put it in to creep/crawler creep / crawler low gears, but I cannot see how she did it.

The levers/pedals are:
- Gear lever (mounted on left wheel arch).
- PTO (left side of gearbox).
- Diff lock pedal (right side front).
- High/low range gear lever (long grey lever, right side).
- 2/4 WD lever (short grey lever, right side, on the floor).
- 2 hydraulic linkage levers (long thin levers, right side, upper back).

I have attached 2 photos

Any suggestions gratefully received thanks!

Your tractor was not one sold in North American nor can I find an equivalent.

I looked on one foreign source for workshop manuals and again your model is not on their list.

The creeper gear sets I have seen on a few smaller B series tractors mounted on the top of the transmission and I see nothing similar in your photo.

Could you have clutch issues resulting in severe slippage and hence low speed?
