Firstly apologies for my video not working, uk licensing issue.

I still have the noise issue in the gearbox / differential unit on my B1400. It is still only in hi range and gears 2 & 3. It sounds like a screaching bearing to me. I changed the oil to Kabota hydraulic oil and the old oil was milky but didn't feel gritty or lead me to think metal particles were in the gear box. New oil didn't make any difference. Is there any common faults with the B1400 gear box?

Every time I take it to the dealer it seems that 100 miles on the trailer stops the noise for a few hours.

I've tried dipping the clutch and rolling down hill in gear and still get the noise.
I've tried applying the brakes while driving to put more load on the gearbox but no different.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I have heard that same noise in my 2009 B3200 in high gear. It only seems to make the noise when it is cold. It sounds to me like a bearing race that might be spinning in its bore in the trans case. I only have 160 hours on my tractor.
