Auction SCOOOOOORE!

Went to an auction in the light rain, this morning, Got me 13 NOS post hole digger teeth, for $21.20. Kinda look like these: http://www.amazon.com/Pengo-Auger-T...sr=8-2-fkmr1&keywords=pengo+1656I+auger+teeth

Also got 2 light duty centers for augers, that I can weld on a coupla old augers I have laying around... $20 ea.

Rain makes a buyer's market, in (wet) boxlots...

Funny, my wife and I went to an auction two months ago, and got all of our implements for about $500.......it seemed like they were just giving stuff away.

Today we went to the same auction house, same place within 3 miles, same sort of stuff for sale, and it's was like everyone had bidding fever.

What I got for $500 two months ago, would have cost me $1,200 today.

Weird....you really have to just keep going and hope the stars are aligned that day.

The big stuff, that I was interested in seemingly had owners bidding it up. I go to an auction to get bargains, so I let several opportunities to spend too much slip by...
