Question concerning air cleaner indicator lamp on dashboard.
Machine is 1999 L35 TLB with 2,000-hrs.
Engine is 100-ci E-TVCS 3-cylinder diesel.
Rated 2,700 RPMs.
NEW Kubota single-element dry paper air filter without precleaner.
The machine is well-maintained and has not had a hard life.
When the RPM needle hits 2,000 the dashboard "high vacuum" or "dirty filter" lamp lights up. (Appears too sensitive--too low, based on rated RPMs.)
This is not a new problem and lamp response seems consistent one time to the next.
Although not using PTO on this machine the lamp lights at 2,000 before the PTO setpoint can be reached on the tach.
Q1: Knowing anything can fail, is there any experience or known life or problems for "Sensor Air Cleaner, p/n TA040-16380"?
Q2: Does anyone have available specs that tell at what RPM the dashboard air filter lamp 'should' light in normal service with new filter?
All experience insight knowledge and advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time and effort assisting.
