Had some steel left over from another project so I turned it into a toolbox. It slides on and off and is held in place with a couple of pins - easy to fit and remove if needed.

I added a couple of new support tubes about 6" higher than the original ones as the ballast box hit the tool box when raised fully. Probably don't need to raise it fully but felt it better to have the toolbox out of the way.

Nice job!

I absolutely love the “quick disconnect” feature.

Is there a reason it opens ‘backwards’ though?

Looks great. Nice size. Will that hold a saw without removing the bar?

what’s you list of items in the kit/box?

Thanks. It opens backwards so it can open all the way and avoid the ROPS frame. I'm thinking I'll add a support so the opened lid can become a tray. If I find I don't like it I'll take it off and put it on so they lid opens "forwards".

Thanks. Haven't tried the chainsaw in it yet - not sure if I'll put it in this box or somewhere else. At the moment I've only got a strap, couple of chains and a tow hitch in the box. Other things will find their way in their as I find I need them.
