any help, looking for info on a front end loader for a 1989 kubota L2050 2wd, I have heard that it can't be done, but I see and hear of it. What size loader, universal type, ?? I can make mounting brackets..called some of the aftermarket dealers and they tell me the tractor won't have enough hydo pressure ?? any help..thanks.

Tractordata lists a Kubota BF400S as an available attachment. You may want to verify this as they do have an error once in a while. Koyker has an application chart for their loaders that might have your tractor on it. I think that the reason people are advising you not to put a loader on it has more to do with it being 2WD. MFWD is a big force modifier if you're running a front end loader. Even with MFWD, most folks still run filled rear tires, an implement on the 3 point, and sometimes wheel weights. It will work, just not very well. You'll need to take small bites.

The other issue that you may run into is that the loader may cost you as much as you spent for your tractor.

thanks for the info, I have thought about the 2wd no power steering issue. But more for doing little jobs. Went looking this weekend and yes pretty pricey. The local Kubota dealer was no help, just wanted to sell me a new tractor. So might look into fabricating one my self. might be a winter project.
