-Could not have done it just by using the manual. Engine oil and filter, no problems though my two oil pan bolts are on the bottom, not the sides.
-Had to buy an Irwin vise grip locking chain clamp (thanks wgator) after I toasted a couple of other oil wrenches on the transmission hydraulic oil filter.
-As some have recommended, I used the shop vac to try and not lose much fluid when I pulled the other filters off but didn't plug the hose all the way into the fill hole because I was worried about sucking oil out (probably not possible but I worry about things like that).
-The HST filter (on the left under the steps) came off and I lost about half a quart. Had lots of time to clean off the mount and install it per the manual.
-Back to the HST filter (on the right). The new clamp finally got it loosened so I spun it off. You could hear air getting sucked in through the filter housing and I lost almost no fluid. Installed the new filter and was happy.
-Read the manual to see how much to tighten it and realized I had not wiped off the magnet and assumed I was supposed to have put the cleaned magnet on the new filter. Took the magnet off the old filter, cleaned it and removed the new filter to install the magnet. Heck, there was already a new magnet on the new filter so........
SOMEHOW i KICKED THE DANG SHOP VAC CORD unplugging it. Oil immediately started coming out and I lost about three quarts total (with the new filters).
-Oh well. I still feel good about getting it done, esp getting that filter off so I thank you all for the help.
