I have used the "arch" from a post hole digger with a chain to where the top link attaches to the arch top... This to lift the log end off the ground and pulling the log with another chain to the draw bar..

Worked good for me...

Here is what I have done with my BX. Worked well for me. It is a 3 pt 2” receiver and then one of those combo hitches with 3 sized balls and a hook on it. I put my chain around the log. Then lower the 3pt down and throw the chain over the hook. Lift it up and drag it. Not the fanciest thing, but meets my needs.

I started with the base part from a back blade and added based on my intended use from there. It’s modular so you can use as a hitch or put a wood vice in or a box or whatever will slide into a 2 inch hitch. Add some shackl bases for shackles

I really like this design. I'm curious if you would want to share the specs with me as I'm wanting to have something fabricated similar to this? I own a Kubota M62 and this looks like it would be perfect for forest work.

when too lazy to mount my logging winch I will use this set up very successfully (and cheap)

replace ball with Speeco grab hook

Use a logging choker around log (or whatever) and drop chain quickly on any link on the grab hook, lift and go.

Sure thing. Send me a private message and we can start a conversation that way.

Hello, I'm looking for an attachment that would enable me to hook a chain around a log and lift it up with the 3 point to be able to drag it out of the woods. Ideally I would like it to be compatible with the QH10 quick hitch on my Kubota L2501. Also ideal would be if it had a class3 hitch receiver on it so that it could double as a trailer hitch that I can raise and lower. Does anything like this exist? Thanks
Using my Maxxhaul 50039 3-point hitch receiver for logging. That photo shows a 3/8" class 70 chain, but I've since re[placed it with a 1/4" class 70 with a slip hook at one end for log choker work. WAY lighter chain and easier to handle, and the choker hook binds log bundles for dragging them like a dream.
The Maxxhaul prob won't fit the quick hitch 3-point system, though.
