I inherited the BX1850 and 2750d snowblower. I know the hydraulic lines should lift and drop the blower. Does someone know what the proper hookup of the lines are. I tried searching the forum. There are 4 on the tractor and know very little about what I have.

I,m going by memory, so give this a try and report back. Put one set of 2 hoses from the snowblower on the very top and very bottom of the four connectors on your tractor. Put the other set of 2 hoses from the snowblower on the middle 2 connectors of your tractor. Start up your tractor, and move the joystick to the front and to the back. That should raise and lower the complete snowblower unit. If it does that great, if it moves your shoot left to right, switch both sets of cables. Attaching the hoses incorrectly cann,t do any harm, so give it a try, and report back.

Orangeglow is correct, unless you don't have the hydraulic chute rotation, then you just use the two outside connectors.

I only have two connectors. I tried top and bottom and it didn't seem to work. Then I tried all combinations and no luck. I may have another issue.

So you have the 4 connections for a loader.

Do you have a loader and have you used it to ensure the hydraulics are in working order? Does the 3-point hitch (3PH) lift as it should, with force?

The others are correct, you likely need the outside fittings.

My BX2360 uses yellow and white as the lift circuit, which are outside. Do you have any color markings left?

I'd sooner suspect you're not getting the couplers on completely. They can be a challenge due to pressure and little room for hands to get on them.

If you've never done it, you pull the outer ring of the female coupler back (about 1/4"), press the coupler onto to the male side until the locking ring snaps back into it's former position. You can hear it click when it happens.

With the tractor off, rotate the joystick in all directions a couple times. Will release pressure on the tractor side. Try your connections again.

If that doesn't work, on the blower side, WITH HEAVY GLOVES ON, take a small wooden dowel, or something similar that won't damage/mar the small steel ball in the coupling. Push it into the female side of the couple and tap it with a small mallet. Best to have a rag around it.

It will push in the ball and release pressure. Alternatively, you can just loosen a connector on one of the two blower hoses. REMEMBER GLOVES and a protective rag.

Hydraulic fluid under pressure can easily penetrate you skin and cause some very serious health issues!

I sooner think it's an issue with tractor-side pressure giving you a hard time.

Here are the connections of my BX2750D blower to my BX2360. Note the white and yellow designations.
If you get it to work, but if it reacts opposite of the joystick direction, swap your blower hoses from white to yellow and yellow to white.
