I was using my B3200 today, HST to move dirt around with the bucket. Low hour tractor, 108 hours.

Shut off the tractor to do some manual work, jumped back on the tractor and she wouldn't crank. I get the normal oil, battery and glow plug lights but the starter doesn't even engage.

First thought was that I had this happen in the winter - it was being used and just suddenly wouldn't restart. After lots of checking, I found my foot had moved the bucket lever into the locked position. Unlocked the lever and it started right up.

Not the case today. Checked all fuses, even the one right at the starter (I put in a new one from when I bought it). Jumped seat switched, checked PTO switches, everything seemed to be engaging correctly. Tractor does not start, even in neutral, clutch in, brake down, hydro's in neutral.

I rocked the tractor, got the PTO levers to engage and disengage. I eventually pulled the wire off of the starter solenoid, put 12V to it and it fired right up. Ran fine. I could get on and off the seat (tractor not in motion). Acted normal.

Shut it off. Reconnected the starter solenoid wire, and it wouldn't crank.

I had it in my head that it was the seat switch. Played with that awhile and noticed that it ran. Shut it off, don't get off seat, and it will start back up. Shut it down, get off seat, get back on, it doesn't start.

It's almost like there is a switch/relay after the seat switch. Basically here at the end of the day, I'm lost. It seams as if a safety switch is preventing the starter from receiving the signal to crank. The starter has shown no sign of giving me issues.

I tried a bunch of options and it's all running together on what works and what didn't. At one point I want to say that once I got it running, I shut it off, stayed ON the seat, it started right back up. Shut it back off, got OFF the seat, and then it wouldn't start.

It's like when I jump the starter, it resets something.

Sorry for the long post but I'm trying to avoid a dealership visit (not one close, so I'd have to pay for transport) and I'm handy enough to be able to fix this. I just don't know what it would be. Hopefully someone else can recommend things to try to isolate it, or if this is an issue for this model?

EDIT:
I did notice today that when I let off of the forward or reverse pedal, sometimes the tractor would still keep on creeping forward/backward. I was in Low and Medium gear and it's never done that before. I shut off the tractor, got underneath and worked the pedal back and forth to see if there was a switch or something, something not causing the pedal to return to neutral. THAT is when the tractor wouldn't restart. Maybe it thinks that it is having the pedal pressed when I am trying to start it??

Engine oil, HST levels etc are all fine.

I believe you were barking up the right tree with your last statement. Try cranking position key switch while rocking the HST pedal and see if that cures the issue.

I tried that, roughly. I didn't slowly move the pedal or anything. I just moved the pedal with my foot and then tried to put it in "neutral" by hand, where it felt like it was centered.

I started having a similar problem yesterday. I have a B3300SU that is 2 years 11 months old. Battery is fully charged. Turned the key and got lights, but no crank. Made sure I was in neutral, power take off disengaged, etc. Still no crank. Pushed the HST pedal back and forth and with just slight pressure toward reverse, it cranked. We've had lot of mud recently. I suspect the HST pedal interlock / neutral detector is dirty and needs to be cleaned and lubricated. I watched the video cited in this chain, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvxjsaKeXCw

Excellent video. I'll give cleaning and lubricating a try and report back.

Try rocking the forward/reverse pedal while holding the key all the way to the right (like you are starting it). See if it coughs or starts. If so, your neutral switch needs to be cleaned/adjusted.
I also took my seat "tip over" switch and locked it "on" under the seat. I found that in the worst scenarios (working on a hillside) that the darn switch would cut out the engine when i was leaning sideways, unbalanced in the seat. This led to some rather tenuous situations. After locking the switch down, no more problems.
