After reassembling the engine, cvt, and clutch on this machine is does start and run fine, But when trying to shift from neutral into forward or reverse, it grinds badly. Upon removing the cvt cover again it is apparent the the cvt drive clutch is engaged and turning the driven (secondary) clutch even at idle. The engine is running at a very slow idle, and I don't believe the drive clutch should be turning the secondary clutch at such a slow speed, and you should have to speed the engine up, even if slightly, to have the drive clutch start turning the driven clutch. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be going on on what may be wrong?
