Hey everyone. New to this forum. I just acquired a 2008 RTV 500 and the cover over the timing belt is leaking due to the previous owner shearing off some bolts. I tried liquid gasket but it didn't hold. My question is, will removing the gas tank give me ample access in order to try and get this old cover off and install a new one? The local Kubota dealer told me they would have to pull the whole engine and go about it that way. Any help would be appreciated.
