1st try with the bush hog

Finally got the bush hog onto the 1870.
First time ever using one. Did some light cutting on the trails in the wood lot and then went up above to cut along the road.
Went with a 42” because of the narrow openings I have but would recommend wider as this didn’t seem to work the motor much at all.
Definitely not a finish mower but a lot easier than using the hand held brush cutters.

I never knew you could get R1's on that small of a unit.

The 1870 wheels accommodate turfs and R1's, no problem. If you want R4's, the sizing on the front is an issue. At, that is what Kubota will tell you.
