just bought an L-260 over the weekend while checking it out today I found 2 small dipsticks on the injector pump. the one on the rear of the pump shows empty/nothing when checked. the one toward the front side is over full and seems to be diesel fuel. what is supposed to be in these holes?

have manuals on order so I can become more familiar with this tractor. am used to old massy's and fords from the 50's/60's

I think on at least the early kuboters, the rear dipstick is for motor oil, same weight as you use in the motor. Fill it up, if it leaks out, you'll need to put a seal in, it's a separate compartment, from the crankcase...:D
