I rebuilt my steering gear box yesterday, with the help of this video:

It's a Yanmar box in the video, but the way they do it is dead simple and helped me set the end play, backlash and orientation the right way, the first time.

My shaft broke on mine, I replaced it with power steering. It was easy to do and infinitely better. The b7200 and b8200 look identical for the steering box. It was the single best change I've made to the tractor. I used a hydraulic steering box off a deere 318. The 7200 already has the dedicated ports on the hydraulic block for power steering. Total cost was under $500, so if it gives you any trouble again it might be worth considering.
