Installing 3rd Function Valve on BX

Hi-

I’m thinking of getting a 3rd function valve for my BX1860. I’ve been doing some reading on self-installing and seems pretty straightforward overall. Has anyone done this on the 60 series BX? Any pitfalls to watch out for? Is the electric component difficult to install?

While I haven't put one in an 1860, I have done the 2360. (and bx25)
Nothing to be afraid of. you will remove 1 steel pipe and connect a hose to each side. The electrical is easier.
