    Block heater

When I bought my L2800 7 years ago I requested a block heater be installed prior to delivery. Dealer rep said it was not necessary and went as far as to offer in writing that if the tractor failed to start at minus 20C he would come and install a block heater no charge. No heater so far...

    L2800

I have had an L2800 for several years now, currently has 600 hours on it without a lick of trouble. I rarely see any posts related to the L2800. Is it because it is a rare tractor, or is it that reliable?

    How long?

Got a L2800, running 0w15 synthetic in Ontario. My question is how long do I wait for things to warm up before using the rig? I've been told everything from 20 seconds to waiting until it is at operating temp. I typically run it at 1000rpm until I see the temp starting to rise, then work it. In...

    L2800 Grease fittings

I'm almost embarrased to have to ask, but is there more than one size of zerk? I'm referring to the end the grease gun goes on. I have been trying to grease everything, once I get the gun on the zerk(s) I have to litterally yank it to get it off. In one case I managed to rip the zerk right out...

    Nasty stuff in fuel filter

My L2800 has 250 hours on it, I noticed the presence of large flakes of black gunk in the fuel filter. I guess I'll be draining and cleaning the fuel tank, is there any product I can use to wash the tank out? Thanks in advance, Sparx

    Hydraulic oil level?

The hydraulic oil level sight glass on my L2800 appears to be cloudy, is this a common problem, and is it relatively easy to replace? Thanks in advance for your reply. Sparky

    Rotella T-6

Hello all, long time lurker, first post, great site. I have an L2800 I purchased last year with 200 hours on it. I intend to use it this winter to blow snow, assuming we get some this year. It currently has 250 hours on it and I am about to change the engine oil. I found Rotella-6 0W30 locally...
