    I just talked to the guy that did it, and he put 15 quarts in it. And when they drained it it was all the way up the dipstick so it very well could have hydrolocked from the crankcase side

    It is not equipped with an EGR, but I was leaning towards broken/blown out piston rings being that the CCV system was not clogged or oil filled

    I have let it run today for a while at various rpms, and it still does the same thing. That was the first thing I tried, to get the oil warm and let it burn off or run back into the pan, but I'm thinking it might have blown out internal seals and possibly the rings

    I am not sure how long it was ran like that before it was noticed. But I did go out and drain the oil to the correct amount. It was ran for probably another 2-3 hours once fixed and they noticed the issue. I just went through the CCV system, and nothing was clogged or full of oil
