    Broken three point hitch arm

Somehow the left side lift arm (the one that connects to the mower deck mount) is bent / broken. It has bent to the point where the arm leading to the mower deck mount is hitting the PTO lever assembly. The interference is preventing the mower from starting. I will of course call the dealer...

60" deck banging and "Stopper" adjustment

Thanks for this. The manual was very ambiguous about this point. When I 1st read the service manual, it states to set the control nob to the number for your desired cut height. I read that as #2 = 2" this is not the case and a bad assumption on my part. #2 is whatever height #2 is. If it...

60" deck banging and "Stopper" adjustment

It's a brand new tractor with 20 hours. I'll give my dealer a call tomorrow. I don't want to pay a pickup and delivery fee to find out if this is normal though. Can anyone else verify the arm and the stopper alignment on their bx2380?

60" deck banging and "Stopper" adjustment

I have a question about setting the top-level of the 60" mower deck on my BX2380. I'm trying to prevent the mower deck from banging on the frame while it's in the "TOP" position while I drive. I have adjusted the height of the mower deck to match the height settings on the height control dial...

    Setting height on 60" mmm

The deck is not supposed to sit on the wheels; unless you remove it from the tractor for maintenance or other reasons. While the deck is hanging from the tractor, the weight of the deck along with the design of the leveler arm causes the arm to flex. The leveler arm connects to the deck with a...

    Setting height on 60" mmm

I took the mower deck off the tractor. It looks like the wobble in the leveler arm is caused by the weight of the mower deck. There is no gap between the bolt and the assembly when the mower deck is on the ground; only when it's hanging from the tractor. I guess it is what it is!

    Setting height on 60" mmm

I stopped by the Kubota dealer today where I bought my bx2380, great dealer and very helpful. I looked at a different bx2380 on the lot while I was there. The deck had a small left to right wobble, but not as much as mine. I spoke with the service crew and they told me the wobble was not...

Wheels for dirt dog 48" landscape rake.

I'll work on fabrication I guess. Good excuse to learn how to weld. I called dort dog and did find out that the wheels they sell won't work for this size due to the different tine height of the larger rakes vs the 48" unit.

Wheels for dirt dog 48" landscape rake.

Does anyone have wheels for their 48" landscape rake?

    Setting height on 60" mmm

The spring adjustment on the leveler will not take up the slack from the bolt head to the leveler system. See the attached photos. I've adjusted the spring to the correct setting (2.17") adjusting it more does not remove the slack in this bold assembly. The pin through the bolt prevents...

    Setting height on 60" mmm

The float is with the springs on the float arm; my deck has a 1/2 of movement up and down on the left or right side before those springs engage. It makes it hard to level the deck left to right due to this tolerance issue with the float system. If the springs were always engaged, this would...

Wheels for dirt dog 48" landscape rake.

I have a Dirt Dog 48" landscape rake (clr48). What wheels can I get that will fit this rake? I found wheels for dirt dog landscape rake, but only the larger sizes. They list many sizes but the 48" is not one of them. Im not sure why they wouldn't fit, but guessing there must be some reason...

How to tell if my tires have ballast?

Were you using a valve tool to remove the valve stem core? Or were you removing the cap on the valve stem? Fluid should not come out if it was just the cap; if it was the core, then lots of fluid would come out. Your tires have liquid balast if liquid came out. Make sure the valve stem is at...

    Setting height on 60" mmm

I own a BX2380 and have a question about properly adjusting the 60" mmm. This deck has the self leveling system. There is a bit of play in that system that will allow me to move the left or right side of the mower deck up and down about a 1/2 or so before the springs engage on the self leveler...
